Rotation or not???

Okay, so I have so many things going on I'm thinking of trying a stitching rotation. I don't know if it will work for me or not. Any suggestions, advice, etc? I don't have nearly enough hours to stitch in a week now... will this make it seem like more of a chore than my relaxation & thearpy that it feels like now? Do you use a rotation method? If so, care to share how you do it & how well it works for you? Have you tried it & don't care for it?

Thanks & happy stitching,
Amy

Started SAL...

I didn't get much stitching in at all over the weekend, but I did start AMAP's Victoria's Quaker SAL with the Friends Gather group. This is my progress from last night, not much I know, but at least it's started! I hope to work on it some this week. It's on 36 ct Light Sand Edinboro & the floss is Anchor #44 (deep red).

Happy stitching!!

One of those weeks....

I have had one of those weeks.... a nasty virus and more to do than I can possibly hope to accomplish in a week, but that never stops me from trying! I haven't stitched much at all this week. Last weekend I did stitch & finish this Biscornu & fob for a friend of mine for her birthday. She LOVES teapots and red is her fav color, so I hope she will like them. They are freebies... I'll have to find the URL & post it in case anyone else would like the pattern.

I'm hoping to start a SAL tomorrow, AMAP's Victoria's Quaker, with some of the members from a BB I'm a member of. I'm using Anchor #44 and 36 ct Lt. Sand Edinboro. I'm anxious to get started!!

I received this lovely beaded scissors fob in the mail today from a very talented designer friend of mine & I just LOVE it!!! It matches my favorite Dovo's just perfect!! You might call me a fob collector anyway.... I have all colors & kinds, beaded & stitched and I just love them! Thanks again D!

Have a great weekend & happy stitching!!

IT'S FINISHED!!!!!

Yeah, it's finally finished. I started this in early Feb. at a Stitch-In, something that would be easy to stitch while I chatted the day away. I didn't stitch on it much else in Feb, had to finish my Mira Enchanted Mermaid. Now at long last (that's the way it feels!), it's finally finished. It's from the 8 "Dear Diary" series patterns from Little House Needleworks. I changed the colors to suit myself. I used 2 of the original DMC's from the chart (in the baskets), the rest are WDW (Purple Haze & Eggplant) & GAST's (Cidermill Brown, Pomegranate, Rhubarb, Evergreen & Grape Leaf). Not sure what I'm going to stitch next... the list is endless, but I'm so glad this one is finished! Thanks for looking!!!
