Ray has finished painting the house & it looks great! Or at least we like it! Please ignore the mess in the yard. The tree care co. is coming either Tues or Thurs to grind some stumps from where the trees were cut last year. The "wishing well" will soon be moved as Ray will be making light "posts" with solar lights for the yard. One will be to protect the well and the other is just to balance out the look of the yard. There is also LOTS of landscaping to be done. The bricks you see sitting there are pavers & they will cover the courtyard, which will make it look much better than the gray concrete. I can hardly wait to see that done! Thanks for looking! Have a great weekend!!!!
Enjoyment is not a goal, it is a feeling that accompanies important ongoing activity. (I think this includes stitching, stamping, paper crafting & sewing!)

My new Closet....
USEBB Biscornu Exchange Part 2....
The is the biscornu & goodies that Goldie sent to me in the Specific Finish Exchange on the USEBB! The beading around the edge & the bead in the center make it very pretty! Isn't it lovely? Thanks for the lovely stitched gift & the other goodies Goldie!!! Again, thanks for looking!!
USEBB Biscornu Exchange.... Part I
These are pics of the Biscornu (and other goodies) I sent to Goldie. The reason for Part 1 & Part 2 are that she sent to me as well, so I don't want to confuse anyone! ;-) The pattern is The Cat's Whiskers Spring Fever stitched in Dinky Dyes Ocean Grove floss. If it looks familiar, it might be because I stitched one for myself in the same thread. I think it turned out pretty & I hoped that Goldie likes it as well. Her's is stitched front & back & on mine, I put my initials & 07 on the back. Thanks for looking!!

Looking for ONE Prairie Schooler Charts....
**Edited to say I have found Garden Samplers (yeah!), I now just need Garden Verses! :-)
I'm looking for Garden Verses and Garden Samplers. Both are, of course, out of print. I'm willing to buy or trade for either or both of these charts if anyone is willing to part with them. I can also offer all 5 of the new releases from Prairie Schooler as soon as they are released in the next month or so. Anyone? Pretty please??

Friends Gather Fob Exchange - sent...
I sent this to Cari in CA but I don't know if she got it or not. I haven't heard from her and I'm a bit bummed about it but hopefully she is okay & it did arrive. It's from the Blackbird Designs With Needle & Thread, stitched on 40 ct Lambswool with Crescent Colors Silks (Soie Belle). I finished the edge with a blanket stitch. I think it came out cute & I hope that Cari does like it. I sent some other goodies as well but I didn't take a pic of those. The fabric shown in the background is the backing of the fob. Thanks for looking! Happy stitching.....
We've moved....
I didn't know 2 people could own so much "stuff"! I'm so glad the move is done, now if everything were finished & all the "stuff" was where it belongs. I'll take some pics & post once all that's done. Shouldn't take more than 3-4 YEARS! Okay, so maybe not that long, but it sure feels like it! I'm thrilled to be in our new home that we designed together & that Ray has done 75% of the work on. I'm so proud of him!! There is a bit more to go to finish it, but he WILL get it done. I'm lucky he is stubborn about things like that! :-) Just wanted to say a quick hello as I haven't been online much at all lately. Have a great day!

Scissor Fob Exchange Received!
I received this lovely fob today from Sharon in the Friends Gather Scissor Fob exchange! I am pretty sure it's a Whimsey & Wit design (? Sharon?) and she stitched my initials on the back!!!! Isn't it pretty? I love it.... and I needed a pick-me-up today like you wouldn't believe! She also sent the other goodies shown as well. Thank you Sharon for a lovely stitched gift and the extra goodies too!
One I sent was received today.... this one was for Vonna in USEBB Summer Quaker. In the info when signing up, she posted that she thought of Sunflowers & Geraniums for summer, so I decided to stitch it in gold, but I also included some nice red silk (and a few other goodies) for her as well. It was a fun stitch but I wasn't totally happy with the end result of my finishing. It was my first "Tin", but she says she likes it, so that makes me happy!Hope everyone is finding lots of time to stitch. Not much here but I have decided on a couple of exchange pieces. Now to pull the threads & cut the fabric and start them....
Happy stitching,
Amy

Pictures... finally!!!
First is the adorable pinkeep that Becky SC sent me last week! I just love it, it's so cute! :-) Thanks again Becky! It was so kind of you to make this for me! :-) :-) :-)
Next are some Ewe & Eye & Friends charts I ordered that came the same day as the pinkeep. I know, I'm slow! The camera batteries needed to be changed (we have two sets) and I'm so slack, I don't know how to change them. I had to wait on Ray to find the time to change them for me. Oh well, better late than never, right?
Thanks again for a wonderful pkg Sandy!
Last but not least are two OOP (I think) items that I found on sale & had to order! I hope to get them both stitched this decade! ;-)
I also recevied my Wiehenberg Personalized Quaker yesterday via email. I LOVE it & can't wait to get started on it. I'll post more details about it soon!! Hope you have a great weekend & find lots of stitching time!!
Hugs,
Amy
