This is the Lil' Critters exchange that I sent to Marie. Her "critter" choice was chickens or roosters & this pattern, Coq au Pins by Twisted Oaks came out as I was looking for something to stitch for her. It has several designs but I chose to do the Scissor case after seeing the chicken scissors from Dinky Dyes. I think it turned out pretty cute & I think Marie likes it as well. Thanks for looking & happy stitching!!
Enjoyment is not a goal, it is a feeling that accompanies important ongoing activity. (I think this includes stitching, stamping, paper crafting & sewing!)

Lil' Critters Exchange (SBEBB) from Vonna!
I have to be one of the luckiest stitchers around this week! Take a look at these adorable bunnies that Vonna stitched for me & finished it on this beautiful box! She also sent along 2 more members of my new bunny family ;-), a pretty piece of fabric from Silkweaver and a pretty candle tin!
See the little charm on the inside of the box lid? It says "Hand made with love". Isn't that just the cutest finishing touch? Thank you again Vonna, I love everything! :-)

"And A Forest Grew" USEBB Exchange from Becky
My 2nd post for the day..... :-)
Becky totally outdid herself. Look at all the beautiful items she made for me & put in the box. I had tears rolling down my face & my hands were shaking! What a wonderful, wonderful gift to receive. Thank you so much Becky! :-) And btw, I'm so glad you are feeling better. I hope you will continue to feel better each day & know that you are in my thoughts & prayers!!!
Thanks for looking & happy stitching everyone!!!
Oh my.... I recieved a wonderful surprise from our dear Becky today. And I DO mean a surprise!!! I got a big box from the mailman & opened it up to find this beautiful box with a tree & bunnies on it and all these extra "finishing" goodies and the cute little bunny as well! "WOW!!!!", right?
Well then, after admiring the box & all the goodies for a couple of minutes, I opened it and .........!! I think you could have knocked me over with a feather because I never expected such a package!
Thanks for looking & happy stitching everyone!!!
SBEBB Seasonal House exchange from Judith
I received this on Monday from Judith! Isn't it so cute? She put so much time & thought into making this adorable gift for me. I chose "Spring" as my theme. I love spring, flowers, picket fences, etc and Judith chose the perfect design. I also adore bunnies & she picked this adorable bunny fabric to use to make the bag. it's quilted (I think by Judith?) with a yellow thread in a flower design all over. Judith is a very talented stitcher and I appreciate her gift very much! She also included 2 fat quarters of fabric as extras! Thanks again Judith! :-)

Two exchanges to share.....
I have two exchange pieces that have been received that I can now share! I have two more that are done, one hasn't arrived yet & one will be mailed Monday or Tuesday. I'll share those when I can.

The first is from the Fair & Square exchange & was sent to Annemarie. I
stitched the alphabet design from Prairie Schooler's From The Heart leaflet and changed the colors to blue/red hand-dyes from GAST, which I am pretty sure Annemarie said were her fav colors (at least I'm sure on the blue!). She has received them now & says she likes it, so I'm glad I it... as I almost changed my mind! ;-) I can't wait to see how you finish your squares Annemarie!!

I had no idea of what to stitch or send, and I finally decided on a design from Cherished Stitches "A Book Of Ornaments". It's stitched on Antique White with Crescent Colours Soie Bella Sister Scarlet & I decided to finish it as a Bourse. I like how it turned out & I hope Su does as well! Here are pics of it opened & closed...

Thanks for looking &
Happy stitching!

It's Monday...
It's Monday, again! I hoped to find some stitching time over the weekend, but didn't have much luck. What little bit I have been stitching is for exchanges, so I can't share any of it at the moment. I did do some finishing yesterday, which was also for exchanges, so you can't see that either, not yet at least!
I wanted to share this pic of my darling little niece, Hannah. She came for a short visit this evening & she was putting together 2 little puzzles that Sandy sent for her. I had to get a pic of her missing so many of her front teeth! ;-)

She's growing so fast & will be in 2nd grade this fall. She's a very sweet child who's been through a lot and was very ill and in the hospital a couple of times over the winter. She scared us pretty bad, I can tell you that! I don't know how parents do it!!
She had eye surgery on both eyes when she was five & has to see the surgeon every 6 months. She will have to have more at some point. She has the most beautiful big brown eyes with the longest eyelashes you've ever seen on a little girl! Lucky child! :-) We love her dearly & spoil her rotten every chance we get!

Woohooo! Got stash in the mail...
I am trying to find a select few OOP Prairie Schooler charts & one arrived today, Woodland Sampling. I just love rabbits (and squirrels are cute too!) & I was thrilled to get this chart! It was in a lot I won on ebay & most of the others are OLD & some I've even had in the past, lol! There is one that I think is pretty but I'll never stitch it. It's called Wintertime & it's by Cathy Livingston. Pic below If you are interested, comment to this post saying so & if there is more than one stitcher who'd like to have it, I'll draw names for it on Friday morning. I'd prefer to send it to someone in the US or Canada, but if you're in another country & really plan to stitch it, include your name as well!
I got "stash" last week as well, including 2 other OOP Prairie Schoolers, Up on the Housetop & Stockings & More. I really really really want Garden Verses, but I think IF I ever get it, I'll have to pay a kings ransom for it. :-( Also, thanks to my friend Terry, I got Just Nan's Queen's Bluebird Box. I'll not be adding the bluebird on top but I LOVE the box. I stitched/finished the Halloween one when it came out & I've been waiting for another. :-)
I was sick over the weekend & didn't do any stitching at all. I hope to get back into it tonight though as I am feeling a bit better today.
Happy stitching everyone!
