TWO finishes to share....

Finally I have something I can share....

I stitched LHN's "My Needles Work", finishing it up on Saturday. As you can see, I changed the "stitching" from the rooster to a bunny!! I love the way it turned out! :-) This was a fun stitch. I'm going to frame it (no mats) & hang it by my computer I think.

Also, here are the next 4 LK Double Flips. I stitched the first 4 in Dec when the DF's were first released (you can see the pic in my Dec postings). I then stitched the next 3 back in Feb & left "Care" until today. The last 4 are due out in April, can't wait to finish this project. I'm going to finish it into a bellpull since it's on banding. It's been a fun & quick stitch so far.

I have a couple of other finishes too, but since they're for exchanges, I can't share them yet. I will when they get to where they are going. My list of items to stitch is just growing longer & longer. I have JN's Bluebird Box (without the bird) to stitch, the JN kit that Tessa was kind enough to trade, Victoria's Sampler "Where Stitcher's Gather", which I LOVE, and now I have SB's "My Earth" on the way as well! That doesn't count all the WIP/UFO's I have going..... First though, I have 2 F&S pieces & 2 SBEBB exchanges to get on the way. I wish I could stitch for 6-8 hours a day! ;-)

We had some severe weather here yesterday with 2 tornados VERY close to our home (one about 3-4 miles away & the second about 7-8 miles away). We have hail damage to our car & Ray is so upset. :-( Not sure if he will get it fixed or just take a loss on it when we trade it in, which he is planning to do by the end of the year anyway. He always takes such good care of vehicles that they look like new. This storm was just unreal. It looked like it had snowed. Some of the balls of hail were as big as quarters. I LOVE spring, but I really hate the storms that come along with it.

Thanks for looking & hope everyone has a great week ahead. Happy stitching!

I love the switch to the bunny and the LKs are looking great. But then again, I always know you're stitching will be beautiful.

Wow -- sorry about the hail storm. Poor Ray -- what an awful bday prezzie.

What a great idea to add the bunny in the place of the rooster! He looks splendid! Your LK words are looking fabulous too!

Amy, I'm so glad you are ok and the tornadoes missed you! I'm so sorry about the damage to your car. I don't miss the weather up there. We used to get those bad storms all the time where we were in Georgia.

I love how you changed the rooster to a bunny. It's perfect!!

Your Lizzie Kate flip-its are looking great too! I love your color changes!

HI Amy!

Love your new finishes. You have been stitching up a storm!
I emailed you a while ago, not sure if you got my email. I just wanted to say how much I LOVE the new LHN chart with the girl holding the finished cross stitch. I hope to do that one someday soon to. It came out adorable. You do beautiful work!!.

Hi Amy, I've just recently started reading your blog, (although we've had e-mail contact when I've ordered from you at DSL). I love the LHN finish, in fact i think that one is about to find it's way onto my wish list! The L*K looks great too.

Thank goodness we don't get hail stormms like that here in the UK! So sorry about the damage to your car.

I like the change of the rooster to the bunny. I may have to change mine to a cat when I stitch that someday!! Nice job. Sorry to hear about the storm.

I prefer the bunny too - good change.

I love them both and love the bunny. You sound like you're going to be busy with all that stitching and I understand about wanting to stitch more hours but can't.

Sorry about the car, just glad you both are ok after all that.

I LOVE your finish and the switch to a bunny - so cute. Roosters don't do it for me!! (think I will be adding this one to my wish list too - can't help but think the stitching lady looks like me!!)
The thought of tornados scares the bee-jeezus out of me!! We occassionally get cold enough for hail but it usually melts as soon as it hits the ground.
