Where are the days going???

Another week has passed by & I haven't stitched or finished a thing! I hope to get some of both done today, wish me luck!

I've been trying to get ready for the Pals Fall Fling. My friend Renee came over Thursday afternoon & again yesterday afternoon & we got a lot of it done, yeah! I'm so thrilled to have so much ready now. I still have the "stitching homework" for the Maderia Tin Class by Jane Timmers to do though. Maybe this week I can start on that.

Thanks to all who posted about my finishes last week. I appreciate the kind words very much!
Karin, your questions about the JN Halloween pieces, the threads I used are exactly what the pattern called for. Maybe the pic looks brighter than it is on your monitor. It's pretty "true" on mine. Hope this helps!

To answer Ruth's questions in her blog:

Choosing right this very minute -- If you could go home tonight and put the very last stitch in one piece that you have NOT yet started, what would it be?

I think my first choice would be Just Nan's Common Ground, which I've had kitted up for at least a couple of years! I've seen many pics of it & it looks much better than in the pic below.

And if the same magic applied to going home tonight and putting the last stitch on some WIP or UFO of yours....?

It would probably be my personalized sampler by Stepahine of Nouveau Encore Designs. I don't have a pic of it on this computer, oh well. It would be between that & Rosewood Manor's "And A Forest Grew". Actually, I'd like BOTH finished! Ruth, have you come up with a way to make this happen yet? ;-)

Have a great week ahead & happy stitching!

Hi Amy!! I'm sorry you haven't been able to get as much stitching done as you would like! You should definitely start Common Ground soon! It's beautiful! I have the latest one kitted up Bellemeade. We could do a SAL! :) I have stitched a little bit on the class piece. I'm fairly close to being finished with the biscornu.

Common Ground is an amazing piece that my good friend just finished this year. I would highly recommend it. CJ(ok;-)
