FINISHES! Woohooo!!!!

I've been finishing over the past couple of weekends trying to get a few things ready for the Pals Retreat which is coming up quickly! But first, let me show you the ornament I sent to Vonna in September in the monthly oranment exchange group we're in. It's a Prairie Schooler "Quilt" Strawberry. I know how much Vonna loves PS & quilts, so I decided to stitch this for her. It was my first, but it won't be my last. It was a fun finish and I think Vonna likes it! :-)

Next are 5 Lizzie Kate ornaments I did the finishing on for my friend Char. She is using the 4 that are over 1 for the Pals ornament exchange, aren't they cute? The other is one she stitched for me since I was doing the finishing for her. Wasn't that sweet of her? These are cuter than I expected, just love "Cookies" & "Santa". :-)

Next are my ornaments for the retreat ornament exchange... they are by JBW Designs, Bent Creek, Stone & Thread and the biscornu is from the 2008 JCS Ornament issue by Cherished Stitches.

I also helped Renee get her finished started yesterday on her ornaments. She let me know today that they are finished, yeah!!

Next is Just Nan's "Pansy Cameo" made into a pinkeep. I think it turned out pretty. This has been stitched for awhile, just not finished. I'm so happy to have it done!

I also have Shepherd's Bush "Heart Blooms" that has been stitched for a bit that I made into a pinkeep too. Cute isn't it? Or at least I like it! :-)

And last but not least tonight is JBW's new "Christmas Purse". I stitched this while watching the first presidental debate, and just got around to the finishing yesterday. I think it's cute and worked up great into a cube.

I have a bellpull that is sewn up, but I decided to paint the hardware white & it's not dry, so I'll share that pic next time when it's completely finished.

There is also one more piece that I can't show yet.... those who are coming to the Pals retreat will see it then, everyone else will have to wait until afterwards. And I'm hoping to finish up my Maderia Tin class pieces tomorrow or the next day - I'll share pics when it's all done. One piece is finished, one to go! Yeah!!!

Thanks for looking... have a great week ahead & happy stitching!
