Where are the days going???

Another week has passed by & I haven't stitched or finished a thing! I hope to get some of both done today, wish me luck!

I've been trying to get ready for the Pals Fall Fling. My friend Renee came over Thursday afternoon & again yesterday afternoon & we got a lot of it done, yeah! I'm so thrilled to have so much ready now. I still have the "stitching homework" for the Maderia Tin Class by Jane Timmers to do though. Maybe this week I can start on that.

Thanks to all who posted about my finishes last week. I appreciate the kind words very much!
Karin, your questions about the JN Halloween pieces, the threads I used are exactly what the pattern called for. Maybe the pic looks brighter than it is on your monitor. It's pretty "true" on mine. Hope this helps!

To answer Ruth's questions in her blog:

Choosing right this very minute -- If you could go home tonight and put the very last stitch in one piece that you have NOT yet started, what would it be?

I think my first choice would be Just Nan's Common Ground, which I've had kitted up for at least a couple of years! I've seen many pics of it & it looks much better than in the pic below.

And if the same magic applied to going home tonight and putting the last stitch on some WIP or UFO of yours....?

It would probably be my personalized sampler by Stepahine of Nouveau Encore Designs. I don't have a pic of it on this computer, oh well. It would be between that & Rosewood Manor's "And A Forest Grew". Actually, I'd like BOTH finished! Ruth, have you come up with a way to make this happen yet? ;-)

Have a great week ahead & happy stitching!

I have been stitching.... really I have! See.....

I just haven't got a lot I can show at this point! I DO, however, have something I stitched & finished for myself to show you.... this is the newest Just Nan "Boo!" In The Tin/Over The Top series pieces. I think they turned out cute. The small piece is a needlecase. It seemed to take forever to stitch for such a tiny piece. I didn't sign up for ANY Halloween exchanges, so I decided I'd stitch something "Halloween" for myself! :-)

Next is the piece I stitched last month when I had all those friends over to stitch, My Big Toe's "Give Me The Cookie". I love this simple little design. It looks more crooked in the pic than it really is, though I do need to move that last cookie button down just a tad....

Last but not least, this is the needleroll I sent to Nela in my first Hooked on Exchanging exchange. I haven't heard from her as to if she has gotten it yet, but it's been awhile since it was mailed. I sure hope it has arrived by now. From what I could gather from her blog, she likes roses and/or the colors pinks/rose, so I decided to stitch this LHN design & finish it into a needleroll. I do hope she likes it.

I have other finishes too..... mostly ornaments, but I don't have the finishing done yet. All but one of them are for the Pals Fall Fling next month & the other one is for Vonna in the monthly ornament exchange group we are in. I'll get pics posted when I get them finished.

Thanks for looking & have a great week ahead.

Happy stitching!
