Another week....

Wow, hard to believe another week has come & gone already! This year is already flying by. I have stitched, I finished two ornaments & started Plum Street's "Love Notes" on Friday. One of the ornaments I ruined while doing the finishing. Ray thinks I can salvage it, but I'm not so sure. :-( Ever done anything really stupid like that? It's more than annoyiny & upsetting. :-( Maybe I'll work on it today & see if I can find a fix for it. Cross your fingers for me!

Vonna, Terry, Nicole & I are starting ByGone Stitches "Quaker Virtures" on Wednesday. Not sure how long it will take me to stitch this one, but my goal is 5 years! ;-) Yep, you read that right. I seem to have problems finishing really big projects & I'm determined to start several other projects pretty soon, AND I'm going to finish several UFO's that have been in the works for 1, 2 or even 3 years. Maybe I can finish this mega project sooner since I'll have the other 3 gals to give me (a hard time) I MEAN motavation about it. Think that will work? ;-)

I want to thank all of you who have left the comments about my Just Nan finish... thanks so much! :-) I can't believe I finished it in about a month either.... but it's not THAT big... just lots of color changes and a bit of over 1, which I don't mind. I have other JN's I want to stitch this spring/summer too, just have to get started on one.... hmm, which one will it be?! :-)

I hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead filled with lots of stitching!

I'm sorry about your ornament Amy! I'm sure if anyone can fix it, it's you! :) Looking forward to SALing with you! Hopefully we'll be able to motivate each other and get it done in less than 5 years!! :)

I am sure you will be able to fix it,but I'll keep my fingers crossed just in case.I look forward to seeing progress on the SAL ya'll are doing. I have a phobia when it comes to large projects I have a few in my stash that are beautiful but I just have'nt the nerve to start one yet. PC Capitol Love has been on my list for two years

Hi Amy - I recently found your blog and added it to my Google Reader to follow better!

As I was perusing your older posts I came across your 10-30-08 one asking if anyone had the Prairie Schooler Christmas Trees #82...it looked familiar to me and sure enough, I have it! It is in very good condition, not used by me or anyone else, as far as I can tell.

If you would like to buy or exchange it, let me know. ~Elizabeth in northern California

I can so relate with the ornament situation. Been there, done that, but I hope yours turns out better than mine did.

I started QV on Saturday. I only got a couple of inches done. I think it'll take me a LONG time to get that one done!

Hope you can salvage the ornament. I looked online at "Quaker Virtures", it's beautiful. It will be fun to follow your (and everyone else's) progress. What fabric and floss color are you going to use?
