Last 2 Ornaments & a group shot....

Here are my last two ornaments in the year long ornament swap I have been in. This Shepherd's Bush ornament is from Carolyn TX. Isn't it cute? I forgot to take a picture of the back, but she put her initials & mine with 2009 between them. It's really cute Carolyn, thanks so much for stitching it for me!

And this Brittercup Poinsettia is from Carol. Thanks Carol, it's lovely.

Here is a group shot of all 10 of my ornaments. Thanks to all of you for the ornaments. There sure is a nice variety here.

I had a really fun Saturday with Nicole, Karen & Teresa. We stitched & talked (and talked & talked) and ate & laughed. Renee came by for a few minutes but she had other plans for the day so she didn't hang around. Bet we had more fun than she did though! ;-)
Today I had to break down & run to the grocery store for a few things but first I had to return the George Foreman grill. I don't know if it's just my "luck" or what, but that thing smelled like burning plastic & omg, it was just awful. It took hours to get the smell out the first several times we tried heating it up. I thought maybe it was just because it was new. Well, after about 6 times, it should have stopped with the stink, and when it didn't, forget it! I decided NOT to try another. Instead, I found some skillets that are - now get this - MADE IN THE USA!!! So I bought a set of those instead. Heck, as much as we paid for the stove in our new home, it should be used as often as possible, right? lol I rarely fry anything anyway & Ray grills most of the meat we eat, I just thought the GF grill might be easier. But these will be great for omelets which we do like & when I want to fix something "small". Oh what an exciting life I lead.....
On the stitching front, I did work on something for sevearl hours yesterday (and a bit Saturday), but again, it's a gift so I won't be able to share pics of it. It's turning out rather pretty if I do say so myself. I'm getting a case of start-itis though, so I hope to finish it pretty quick.
Thanks for stopping by......... Happy Stitching!

The ornaments are lovely. Look fantastic. Sorry to hear about your GF...we live on ours over the summer and have never smelt anything plasticy. Sounds like some packaging stuck under the plates or inside...How horrible for you!

Lovely group of ornaments. Makes me want to join :)

We have a waffle maker we bought several years ago at Walmart and it works great! We also have a GF grill and NEVER use it! It's in the attic somewhere. It will be a garage sale item...LOL

Beautiful new ornies! All of your ornies look fantastic! They all look lovely together as well.

I use to have a GF grill and it never smelled like that. We hardly every used it though so I ended up selling it at a garage sale.
