PIF - Stitched Item Giveaway.....

I have something to give to someone who will frame it/finish it & hang it in their home (or office, etc). It was given to me in a PIF and I had a plan for it, but those plans didn't come to pass, so I am going to pass it on. All I ask is that you give it a good home as it's a lovely piece that someone put a lot of time into. If you would like a chance to have it, please do two things - leave a comment with a way to contact you if you are the winner and two - do something nice for someone. It doesn't have to be a stitching giveaway, but please just do something nice for someone else. We should all do that anyway, right? That's it.... no other strings attached.
I'll draw a winner sometime on Sunday & mail it on Monday. If I don't hear from the winner within a few days, I'll draw a 2nd name, so be sure to leave me a way to contact you!
Have a great day & happy stitching (I'm going to jump in the pool in a bit if it doesn't start raining/storming, another joy of living in the south- lol)!

Amy...what a thoughtful thing for you to do! So many times we all have WIP that sit in a drawer for a long time and we don't finish them. Why not pass them along to someone who will?? Great idea. I would love to have this and finish/frame it for my son and his wife that just bought a house. They don't have much in the way of decorating "stuff" for their walls and he is always asking me to make him some cross stitch so their home can look as "homey" as ours.

My email addy is: ckbaker46@yahoo.com

What a cute item. I would love to have something like that to frame and hang in my home. I would then stitch something and then pass that one on.

I was going to ask to be put in for the draw, as it is just like our home, with the bees in the orchard. But, so many other people look like they would deserve it more, so I just hope it goes to a very good home.
It is lovely indeed.

This pattern is in my stash to stitch - love it. Yes we should all do more RAK's as you say. That's something that I love about our online stitching community - so much sharing, giveaways, pattern trading, not to mention emotional support as well. We can all reach out to help another. Please enter me in your generous PIF.

Wow that is so sweet of you; I think if I was to rec'd this, I would have it framed for my sister; She had a horrible accident while canning tomatoes. She had a canner full of tomatoes, heated the water & was pouring the hot water into the canner sitting on the floor when her 2 dogs ran thru the kitchen causing her to spill the water. She rec'd 2nd & 3rd degree burns on both feet & ankles. Per ER said she will have scars; I am making her a quaker sampler w/a saying about sisters. She doesn't CS but appreciates & loves all the work that goes into a piece. Thank you.
Hugs,
Ree t.

A few days ago I was saying to a nun if these flowers are so beautiful what must heaven be like, she said we shall see these flowers when we get to heaven, they are there too. I would finish and give to this dear nun. I have made some winter soup so going to share with my neighbour who is alone, wish I could do more to help lonely people
God bless

What a sweet gesture, I don't want to enter and I hope the person that wins will give it a good home since I'm the one who stitched it. Enjoy.
