Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! Today is our anniversary & we have been married 22 years! Where does the time go so quickly?
I decided the other day I wanted to stitch something for "Valentine's Day", so I pulled out two "older" SB kits I've had in my stash. These are "Grow Love" and "Heart Treat Bag".

Here's a closer pic of "Grow Love". I decided to make some ruched sheer ribbon trim & add some pearls - looks pretty (I think) but took forever! ;-) I thought it might add "something" to such a small, simple design.

And here are the final snow pictures from Saturday morning. We had approx. 4" to 5" I think. As you can see, LOTS of snow for SC. It was pretty and there is still a bit on the ground, but the roads are clear. They are saying we might get more tomorrow - I hope they are wrong! ;-)

The birds were covering these feeders yesterday a.m. We just missed getting a picture of a beautiful cardinal sitting on top.... sure was pretty and bright against the white snow.

And I just LOVE this little bird with his feathers all fluffed up....

Hope you enjoy the holiday on Monday & find some extra stitching time.
Thanks for stopping by & Happy Stitching!!

Stay warm and stitchy!

Poor little bird - he needs a nice warm nest to snuggle up in... there is not much to a bird, must be hard to stay warm, or maybe it just doesn't bother them...

Love the SB finish, the ruched ribbon and pearls was a perfect way to make it look extra special. The sweet bag is really sweet :)

Amy, I just LOVE your finishes! You did a wonderful job on the rusched? ribbon and pearls. I've yet to try that, but in seeing yours, you just might have enabled me. It totally dresses up the finish. :)

Happy Valentine's Day and anniversary to you and Ray!

I love your finishes! Very nice!

What part of SC do you live? I lived in Goose Creek for 4 years and loved it. I remember getting snow there and it closed everything down, but by noon it was gone!

Happy Anniversary!

I really like the Grow Love and the way you finished it! Here in KY we are having what seems to be the snow belt. We have had snow on the ground for the last three weeks, and are expecting more this weekend. Enough already!

Both finishes are gorgeous!

Love the snow pics. And if you'd like more just holler. We got another 18 inches last week and 3 inches yesterday and who knows for next week. I am sooooooo tired of snow and winter! Blah!

Amy, those SB finishes are so cute. I've been wanting to try the rouched ribbon trim but just haven't made myself sit down and do it. Go take a peak at my blog..........the cardinal in the tree was in my backyard. :-)
