Summer Seasonal Exchange from Myrna...

I received a wonderful package today from Myrna & found out she is the lovely person who will be sending to me in the Seasonal Exchange group! She sent a super summer package with some beautiful things, with the centerpiece being this pretty Just Nan "Summer" pinkeep! Isn't it lovely!? I also love all of the many extras she included. Pansies are one of my fav flowers and she certainly went out of her way to make the package simply wonderful! I look forward to getting to know you better over the next year Myrna - Thank you again!!!

My USEBB Redwork Exchange from Carol....

Carol stitched a lovely needleroll for me! I love the fabric & the design. Thank you so much Carol! All of the extras are great as well!!! I have quite a few Needlerolls in a basket & on stands, and this one will certainly have a place of honor among them!

And the extras are wonderful as well! One can NEVER have enough scissors! ;-) The pattern has an adorable pansy fob that I need to stitch and the red fabric is gorgeous! Thank you so much Carol for such a wonderful package!! Happy stitching! :-)

It's been awhile....

Hi friends! Yes, it's been a little while since I've blogged. I haven't been able to stitch much at all & I miss it SO much! It is sad & depressing but I'm hoping to be better & back to stitching very soon. I have so much I want to do & that doesn't include all the "needs" (exchanges & RR, etc). I did get in maybe an hour total this weekend.... it seems that 15 to 20 minutes at a time is about all I can do. My shoulder is giving me fits today so I'm being extra, extra lazy. We watched Ghostriders (bet you can guess that Ray chose the movie!) and he is out now picking up food from Zaxby's. I hope tomorrow is better for stitching!! Hope everyone else is accomplishing much more than me!!!! Happy stitching!

FG Pinkeep Exchange I sent....

Whew! It finally arrived at it's new home... I thought for sure it was lost in the mail. I received my friend Terry's name in the Friends Gather Pinkeep exchange & I decided to stitch "A Friend" by Elizabeth's Designs. This is what I sent to Melissa in the USEBB "For The Birds" exchange. It's "Summer Tree" by The Trilogy & was a fun stitch. I hope Melissa likes it as much as I do! And want to hear a funny? I had gotten the same chart for her that Goldie sent to me! ;-) Great minds think alike huh?

I received a nice package from Jenny R. yesterday in the Friends Gather Pinkeep Exchange. She stitched a design by E&E&F on a lovely green fabric, isn't it pretty? She also sent along a pattern I adore (and will stitch) by JBW & fabric, thread & beads as well! Thank you again Jenny, I love it all!!!

For The Birds (USEBB) from Goldie!

I recevied a very nice package from Goldie yesterday in the "For The Birds" exchange. She made a scissor keeper using HIH's Summer Bird. Isn't it cute!?! The scissors fit in the pocket on the back & aren't they perfect for this exchange!? She sent lots of great goodies to go along with it as well. She did a lovely job & I love it! Thank you again Goldie!!
