I finished it as a small pillow (and yes, I do know the fabric side isn't as big as the stitched side - that was on purpose...). I like how it turned out. The linen is Lakeside 32 ct Pearled Barley & the finishing fabric is from Blackbird's Harvest Home collection.
Next is a Blackbird Designs Stocking from the December book. It's for someone in the Monthly Ornament exchange I'm in. I sent it yesterday but since she has no idea who is sending to her, it's okay to post it now! :-) Sure do hope she likes it. It's on an R&R fabric (Cafe Kona maybe?) using the GAST/WDW it called for. I think she will like it (fingers crossed anyway)!
That's all for the moment, but I have seen some WONDERFUL new releases from Market that I can't wait to get my hands on! :-)
Thanks for stopping by & Happy Stitching!!
I love how you finished the pillow and I'm envious of your ornament swap partner. Your stocking is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the way you finished your pillow!! I didn't know the 2 sides were suppose to be the same size. I like it better "uneven" if you want to call it that. I think it gives it a nicer look! Good job!
ReplyDeleteYour stocking is beautiful! Your partner is lucky to receive it :)
