Nicole was here around 8:45, and we went to Sumter where we met Karen at the first yarn store/quilt shop. They didn't have very much in the quilt shop, but the yarn shop was really nice & they even carry DMC floss - woohoo! ;-) Somewhere closer than 75 miles with DMC, that's exciting!! ;-)
Then we went to the 2nd quilt shop where we managed to spend about 3 hours (gasp) with Barb, the owner. She's very friendly & funny too. ;-) I didn't buy A LOT, but I got some great things - will share some pics as I make some things with the fabrics. I had my camera & Nicole snapped a few pics for me while I was chatting with Barb - beautiful fabrics & LOVELY quilts - don't you agree?
Now all I want to do is sew/stitch or stitch/sew - so guess what my plans are for tomorrow.... ;-) I plan to stitch for awhile tonight though...
Thanks for stopping by & HAPPY STITCHING!!

It looks like you had a wonderful day! Just being in quilt stores is a source of inspiration when you see all the finished quilts on the wall!

Where is that bbq? I live in SC and could go eat there. Also where is the quilt shop that you took pics from. She has a quilt on the wall that I also made and they look similar but different (mine is borderless at yet as I am still applique-ing).
