Hey, that title doesn't make much sense does it?
Well, not to you I'm sure, but it did to me after the BJ Thomas concert that Ray took me too tonight! LOL Yes, BJ Thomas. Hey, he has 5 Grammy's - and he came to the TINY town we live in, so I had to go & see him didn't I? After all, how often do 5 time Grammy winners come & sing in a town that rolls the sidewalks up at 5 p.m. daily & doesn't unroll them at all on Sunday?! LOL Besides, I like BJ and his songs, and he really sounds great, even after all these years! Seeing as how he had his first hits before I was born, and he's been married just 1 year less than I've been alive, he wasn't my hearthrob when I was young, but OMG, there were enough other ladies there who were ready to swoon! ;-) It was a good show & I had a good time. We were in the 11th row & here are a couple of pics I asked Ray to take for me....
Just thought I'd share my "excitement" for the week. ;-) "I Just Can't Help Believing" that I'll get to stitch this weekend...
Have a great weekend and happy stitching!!

Actually I knew all of those songs. Grandma was a FAN! Mind you I was less than 10 at the time. lol
She loved "Raindrops" - thanks for the memory.
Glad to hear you liked the concert.
Hi Amy, I am in catch up mode, wanted to say thank you for helping my children out with my gift. Also, was at a retreat and meet your friends that do the shaker boxes, really nice people and wonderful craftsmanship.
Sounds like a great evening. I completely understand rolling in the sidewalks at 5:00. We don't get very many distinguished visitors here either. Glad you had a good time. You deserve it.
Sounds like you had a great time!
I would have gone too, I love listening/watching live music.
Sounds like y'all had a grand time out on the town! Keep up that craziness, and they may leave out the sidewalks until 5:30... Bet you'll be humming while you're stitching this weekend!
I was hearing all those songs in my head when I read them. Although I thought I heard a little bit of Elvis popping in for Suspicious Mind. I think Hooked on a Feeling is one of my favorite songs of all time! I think I was in love in high school when that came out (not to age myself or anything)! LOL
Boy I am glad that Deb said something about being around when he was first around, because I sure was. I actually own a couple of his CD's, and I always thought he was one of the good guys. Loved hearing that he has been married for a long time, that makes me like him more. If someone saw my playlist on my ITouch they would get a kick out of the age/diversity range. Hope you have fun stitching this weekend!
That title sure did catch my eye!! I know you had a great time~~~ Okay, now I've got.."..hooked on a feeling..." singing forever in my head!! Take care Amy~~ Faye
